Dr. Erienne Blanchard is a nationally recognized Doctor of Physical Therapy with over a decade of specialized clinical experience in the evaluation and treatment of complex head, neck, jaw, and vestibular disorders. As the founder of Integrative Head & Neck Specialists in Gainesville, Florida, she serves as a trusted physical therapy expert witness, specializing in interdisciplinary care that bridges physical therapy, dentistry, neurology, and otolaryngology. Her deep experience with TMJ disorders, cervical spine dysfunction, and post-traumatic injury uniquely qualifies her to serve as a TMJ expert witness and neck injury expert witness in complex legal cases.

My Background in Phsyical Therapy

Dr. Blanchard serves as an adjunct clinical faculty member at the University of Florida's Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She contributes to the curriculum by teaching courses in exercise prescription, dry needling, and integrated cases, preparing future physical therapists to recognize and manage complex cases. She believes in an integrated care model to address patient needs such as dentistry, oral surgery, primary care, specialists, physical therapy, massage therapy, and mental health counseling in order to provide the patient the best outcomes.​

As a physical therapy expert witness, Dr. Blanchard is well-equipped to serve as an expert witness in legal cases involving:

  • Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJD): Assessment of functional impairment and treatment outcomes with diagnostic credibility by a certified TMJ expert witness.

  • Cervical Spine Injuries: Expert analysis of neck trauma, whiplash, and post-surgical recovery from a seasoned neck injury expert witness

  • Craniofacial Pain Syndromes: Evaluation of chronic headaches, migraines, and facial pain conditions.

  • This certification involved over 75 hours of hands-on training and supervision. I’m state-licensed to perform dry needling across all body regions, especially the head, neck, and face.

  • This board certification demonstrates my proficiency in orthopedic physical therapy and is maintained annually to reflect the most current treatments.

CCTT (Certified Cervical & Temporomandibular Therapist)

  • 2023, PT Board of Craniofacial & Cervical Therapeutics

  • Recognized by the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, this certification reflects my advanced expertise as a facial pain specialist in physical therapy.

CMPT (Certified Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist)

  • This year-long program covers manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, taping, and exercise—allowing me to target treatment to each patient’s specific areas of dysfunction.

  • Focused on treating both peripheral and central causes of dizziness. I also collaborate with ENTs to support accurate diagnosis and comprehensive care.

CFC (Certified Craniofacial Physical Therapist)

  • This foundational certification includes hands-on education in imaging, diagnostics, and treatment of head, neck, jaw, and upper cervical conditions.
